Fitness Tip of the Week
Remember that the average person gains between 6-11 lbs between thanksgiving and the new year holiday. Stay active during this time period investing in activities that you enjoy and will keep you moving. Make a new challenge for yourself to accomplish. For example, Participate in sports; “I will join a recreational soccer league for a season and do strength training two times a week for 6 months and then set a new goal for myself.” Getting involved with a sport is a great way to keep pounds from creeping on.
